You can listen your favorite songs with Rhytmbox music player.

Rhythmbox is an integrated music management application based on the powerful media framework.

It has a number of features, including an easy to use music browser, searching and sorting, comprehensive audio format support through GStreamer, Internet Radio support, transfer music to and from iPod, MTP, and USB, playlists, display audio visualizations.

Video


Linux XP Desktop 2008 offers Totem video player for watching movies. Totem is simple movie player for GNOME desktops.

Editing audio and video


If you like audio-editing and making home video, you can install and use two applications - audacity and kino.

Audacity is a program for editing audio tracks.

Audacity is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds.

Some of Audacity's features include:

You can burn copies of your important files and favorite music and video with a single click in a Nautilus file manager.
